Information We Share with Third Parties
Marcos Coelho Academy collects data that is essential to the function of our Services and to provide you with the best possible experience. To request personal information or account changes, you will be asked to verify your identity.
Please be aware that it is not possible to remove all records of the information you have provided to us from all of our systems. For security reasons, secure backups of our system information to prevent data loss will mean that a copy of your information may still exist in some form that will be difficult or impossible for us to locate or delete. At Marcos Coelho Academy, we use YouTube API Services to embed and play YouTube videos on our website. YouTube API Services allow us to display relevant video content to enhance your user experience. Data Processing Addendum (DPA)
In order to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), we have updated our internal data collection policies to adhere to those outlined in the GDPR.
“Marcos Coelho Academy”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to the owners of the marcoscoelho.academy website and services (collectively referred to as “Marcos Coelho Academy”).
“User” or “You” or “Client” refers to the client or user signing up to use marcoscoelho.academy.
“Party” refers to Marcos Coelho Academy and/or the Client, depending on the context.
1. Personal Data Protection Policies
- Each party agrees that personal data will be treated as confidential information under this DPA.
- Personally identifiable information will remain the property of the disclosing party. Marcos Coelho Academy acknowledges that the User is the controller and retains control over the personal data.
- Marcos Coelho Academy will process the User’s personal data only to the extent strictly necessary for the purpose of providing the services in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Use and any other written instructions from the client that are mutually agreed in writing.
- Marcos Coelho Academy will:
- Implement and maintain a reasonable and appropriate security program, including appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect against unauthorized, unlawful or accidental processing, use, deletion, loss, destruction or damage of the client’s personal data.
- Not modify, alter, delete, publish or disclose any client’s personal data to any third party, nor allow any third party to process such personal data on Marcos Coelho Academy’s behalf, unless the third party is bound by similar confidentiality and data processing provisions.
- Allow access to the client’s personal data only to employees, contractors and suppliers on a “need to know” basis to the extent necessary to fulfill their obligations under the Terms of Service.
- Process customer personal data only to the extent necessary to perform its obligations under the Terms of Service, upon written instructions from the customer (only as mutually agreed) and in accordance with applicable laws.
- Notwithstanding any other provision, we partner with third parties who collect information across multiple channels, including offline and online, for the purposes of providing more relevant advertising to you. Our partners may place or recognize a cookie on your computer, device or directly in our emails/communications, and we may share personal information with them if you have submitted such information to us, such as your name, postal address, email address or device ID. Our partners may link the non-personal information we share with them to the cookie stored on your browser or device, and may collect information such as your IP address, browser or operating system type and version, and demographic or inferred interest information. Our partners use this information to recognize you across different channels and platforms over time for advertising, analytics, attribution and reporting purposes. This process will occur within 60 days. If we are required to retain personal data due to Union, Member State, or United States law, Marcos Coelho Academy reserves the right to retain personal data.
2. Information Breaches and Incidents
- When either party becomes aware of an incident that impacts the processing of personal data, it shall promptly notify the other. The parties agree that they shall cooperate reasonably to enable the other party to conduct an investigation, prepare a response and take any necessary actions in relation to the incident.

Please include a description of the nature of the incident, the name and contact details of the point of contact where further information can be obtained, a description of the incident; and measures taken or proposed to be taken to deal with the incident.
3. Liability and Indemnity
- Each party indemnifies the other and holds it harmless from all claims, actions, third party claims, losses, damages and expenses incurred by the indemnified party and arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with a breach of this DPA.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy and Data Processing Amendment is effective as of January 1, 2025 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes to its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgement of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
